We   are   a   newly   formed   company   owned   by   Seaglaze   which   has   been   set   up   in   order   to   help   Seaglaze Marine   Windows   provide   the   marine   industry   with   high   quality,   very   short   lead   time,   bespoke   marine windows. Specialist   Toughened   Glass   is   able   to   provide   a   wide   range   of   services   for   commercial   and   marine glass   purposes.   These   services   can   be   used   in   conjunction   with   each   other   to   produce   unique,   strong and    secure    glazing    thanks    to    our    capability    to    toughen,    laminate    and    print    customer    requested images on to glass using a state of the art digital printer that uses inorganic ceramic inks. By   combining   50   years   of   experience   in   the   marine   glass   industry   with   innovative   new   advancements in   technology   available   to   use   in   house,   we   are   able   to   take   on   any   order   with   confidence,   be   it   a small one off request or a high production batch order.

Isle of Wight Chain Ferry

Seaglaze   Marine   Windows   are   pleased   to   have   been   chosen   as   the   glazing supplier for the new Isle of Wight Chain Ferry project. Mainstay   Marine   Solutions   (MMS)   were   selected   as   the   builder   for   the   project and   will   be   constructing   the   vessel   at   their   facility   in   Pembroke   Dock,   West Wales. Working   in   partnership   with   MMS   and   also   the   Designers,   Burness   Corlett Three     Quays     (BCTQ),     Seaglaze     will     be     producing     all     of     the     glass requirements   utilising   their   own   wholly   owned   sister   company   –   Specialist Toughened    Glass    (STG),    who    will    be    producing    the    laminated    sections including CNC machined panes. Seaglaze   Managing   Director,   Alastair   Clayton   says,   "Seaglaze   are   proud   to be   associated   with   a   project   such   as   this.   The   Ferry   will   showcase   the   work of   the   builder   and   also   demonstrate   the   capabilities   of   Seaglaze   Marine.   This is   a   major   order   for   Seaglaze   Marine   Windows   and   for   the   Seaglaze   Group   of companies as a whole" The   replacement   floating   bridge   is   being   funded   by   the   Isle   of   Wight   Council and    the    Solent    Local    Enterprise    Partnership    as    part    of    the    East    Cowes Regeneration   Project   –   a   major   regeneration   scheme   on   the   Isle   of   Wight   to create   a   long   term,   sustainable   vibrant   community   and   better   connections to and across the Isle of Wight.
